FAQs

  • The Government of Ontario has announced that as of January 4, 2022, the only valid proof of vaccination will be a vaccine certificate with a QR code.

    Businesses that will check for vaccine certificates will be required to scan your QR code to validate it as of January 4.

  • We understand that not everyone has access to a computer, a cell phone, or a printer.

    We are volunteers who will help you print out your new vaccine certificate with a QR code for you.

  • YES. There is no cost to Print-a-Palooza. We are accepting non-perishable food items for donation to the Markham Food Bank should you wish to make a contribution.

  • Please bring yourself and your health card. Your postal code will be required, so please bring some ID with your postal code on it if you have trouble remembering it.

  • We will not be storing or saving any personal information. All QR codes will be printed with a web browser in “privacy mode”, which does not store any information.

  • This is a “first-come, first-served” service. If we exceed indoor capacity , we will have volunteers get your information from the comfort of your car so you do not have to enter the Print-a-Palooza site

  • This is an initiative of Markham Vaccinates, a completely volunteer group that has been working since March 2021 to get vaccine appointments available to those in our community.

    Ray Lai is a community organizer and software consultant, and will be managing the printing of QR codes.

    Rev. Canon Nicola Skinner is the pastor of Grace Anglican Church. She has graciously opened up the church space for this event without cost.

  • NO! Grace Anglican Church has graciously opened their faciltiies for Print-a-Palooza, but this is not a religious-affiliated event. Neighbours of all creeds, religions, and cultures are welcome! We will help ANYONE.

  • Yes! Ample parking is available at the Grace Anglican Church parking lot.
